It’s hard to believe it’s nearly 2024 already – and the start of the new year marks the return of 's annual Children's Mental Health Week (5th-11th February 2024). Run by the very brilliant children's mental health charity Place2Be, the event is now in its tenth year – and we’ve gathered together the charity’s incredible for families and schools so everyone can get involved.
This year's theme is '
My Voice Matters'. The aim of the week (and beyond!) is to empower children and young people all over the world to use their voices and feel heard – and in turn, equip them with the tools they need to express themselves and help support their mental health and wellbeing.

It's really easy to get involved. The charity has put together a wealth of wonderful resources to help schools, children and parents take part – from assembly ideas to treasure hunts, art projects, dance shows and volunteering opportunities. And of course, Express Yourself day is back, with schools up and down the country being encouraged to hold a fun-filled dress-up day. The idea is simple: to use colourful clothing and unique accessories to express how you’re feeling, and make a small donation to Place2Be.
Do get involved if you can. At Talk ÍÑ¿ã°É, we’re hugely proud to support Place2Be’s wonderful initiative, which serves as an important reminder that conversations around mental health should be an ordinary part of our daily lives.
