The Golden Ratio Assembly

From art to cosmology, design to music, and nature to zoology, the Golden Ratio has captivated the imagination of millions for centuries. This aesthetically pleasing proportion, known as Phi, connects the patterns formed by the Fibonacci sequence with what Euclid referred to as the most beautiful rectangles. Fascinating accounts from pupils and staff, accompanied by the background music of Bach’s 14 Canons captivated the audience along with ancient Greek building designs; the convergent limit of the ratio of a term to its preceding term in the Fibonacci sequence; connection to plant growth, animal shells, and galaxies, we also delved into Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man and The Last Supper!
