Papplewick pupils in riveting performance of 'The Lion King' to round off Michaelmas Term

A cast and crew of Year 7 and Year 8 boys from Papplewick school finished the Michaelmas term with their rousing rendition of the popular musical, The Lion King (JR).

By all accounts it was a triumph and as one parent observed, 'It was the West End coming to Windsor Road!' The boys worked hard on their show, and they can be very proud of the sheer joy it brought to all who watched it over the three performances.

Headmaster, Tom Bunbury said 'This was a joyful performance - well done to the entire cast and crew of The Lion King - an absolute tour de force of acting, singing, dancing and comic timing, and a wonderful way to finish the Michaelmas term of 2024.  Thanks also to the Directors and all the production team for making this possible.'
