Royal Hospital School Shortlisted in the IDPE Development Awards!

Royal Hospital School (RHS) in Holbrook, Suffolk, is pleased to share that its Futures and Alumni Office has been shortlisted for the IDPE (Institute of Development Professionals in ÍÑ¿ã°É) Development Awards in the Engagement Campaign category.

 


The IDPE 2024 Development Awards, celebrate exceptional achievements in schools' fundraising and engagement. Open to both state and independent schools, these awards provide a platform to highlight the impact of creative and innovative development initiatives that have positively influenced young people's education.

Within their nomination, RHS highlighted its 2024 Giving Day Community Quickstep, which raised £126,141 in 36 hours for their Centennial Bursary Campaign, celebrating the power of community. With a unique world record challenge of the most people dancing the quickstep simultaneously, RHS brought together pupils, parents, alumni, staff, and governors in a truly joyous occasion.

Lauren Bayliss-Fuller, Head of Futures and Community and Alumni Relations at RHS commented on the shortlist achievement, saying: “Thank you to IDPE for recognising our efforts and a huge congratulations to all the other schools shortlisted this year — it's wonderful to be part of such an amazing community dedicated to the future of education!”
