St George’s is pleased to announce the launch of its Performance Swimming Scholarship Programme, offering girls aged 11-18 competing at County level and above a unique opportunity to excel both in the pool and the classroom.
This scholarship programme aims to develop future champions by combining top-tier swimming training with exceptional education.
Opened in 2019, the school’s state-of-the-art 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool provides an ideal environment for high-level performance training. Girls selected for the scholarship will receive expert coaching to refine technique, build endurance, and increase speed. With on-site accommodation and training facilities, pupils benefit from a fully integrated approach that balances athletic and academic commitments.
In addition to day and boarding places, the programme offers athlete-focused nutrition, strength and conditioning coaching, ensuring each swimmer has full support.
The programme offers significant financial assistance for both day and boarding pupils and in exceptional circumstances, additional bursary support may be available. This allows families to make a valuable investment in their daughter’s future, providing access to elite training and high-quality education.
