Stellar success for The Marist girls as they celebrate excellent GCSE results!
It was smiles all round today as students at The Marist School celebrated
another year of impressive GCSE results.
A remarkable 68% of girls gained grades 9- 7 across a wide range of academic subjects. A quarter of all grades achieved by this talented year group were at grade 9, a 4% increase on the 2023 results.
Furthermore, 70% of the girls achieved grades above their targets. The excellent relationships between students and staff, with the support and encouragement they receive, have enabled them to excel to even greater heights.
Jo Smith, Principal of The Marist commented, ‘Our Year 11 girls have worked diligently and have proved that hard work really does pay off! Their results are a credit to them and are a reflection of their drive and ambition. With 70% of them reaching higher grades than targeted, we are so proud of their achievements. My thanks to our fantastic staff who have supported their journey to success. I look forward to following their Marist journey as they move up into our thriving Sixth Form in September’.
