St Swithun’s students achieve impressive results in Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition

Four talented U4 girls from St Swithun’s recently represented their school in the regional Acrobatic Gymnastics Competition held at Southampton Gymnastics Club.

The girls showcased their skills and talent by performing a series of impressive synchronised floor routines to music in front of a large group of spectators.

Competing against 14 pairs from other schools in the region, the girls demonstrated their dedication and hard work in preparing for this prestigious competition. Ameliia B and Jaime T secured a notable 6th place, while Lily K and Lois RR achieved an impressive 2nd place.

Patricia Francis, head of gymnastics at St Swithun’s said, “The teachers and staff here are proud of the girls' commitment, focus, and bravery to compete at such a high level. The girls' excellent performance is a testament to their talent and the hard work they have put in, and they are a credit to the school.”

St Swithun’s believes in fostering a culture where all students can find a sport or form of physical activity that appeals to them, whether offered during school hours or as a co-curricular activity. The school is committed to supporting and encouraging its students to develop their skills, passion and confidence, and congratulates the girls on their achievements in the competition.
