Introducing King's College School, Wimbledon's pupil editors...
We all know that pupils are often a school’s best ambassadors — and earlier this term, we launched a competition to find the best student writers, photographers and videographers at the schools featured on our site. Our winners will soon start contributing to the Talk ÍÑ¿ã°É website and our social media channels, with the opportunity to shout about what makes their school so great; tell us all about a recent social; review the latest school play; or even pen a few words of advice for future pupils.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be announcing our bright stars. To kick things off, we’re delighted to introduce our very first winners from

Despite the daunting prospect of King’s College School ahead of me, a wide variety of friendly teachers and encouraging peers soon helped me integrate into the school community.
We had the luck to enjoy many of the interesting subjects Kings had to offer, including the English lessons which became one of my favourites.
As soon as we entered the classroom the teacher managed to procure a steady stream of droll and sarcastic humour which broke the ice between us most effectively. The monotonous language that had once been dreary soon became vivid and colourful under his influence.
He managed to convey the trickiest of concepts into simple ideas, and the lessons grew more enjoyable as the class contributed to the discussions that would be brought up around controversial or diverse texts.
We also covered the topic of riddles as featured in the epic 'The Hobbit' which formed the basis of much of our lessons.
The complicated word amalgamations and structure challenged both our intellect and understanding of the English language.I am sure that there are many more things to be learnt in my time here and I am eager to see what the future will hold.
