Set in the centre of the pretty Dorset town of Dorchester, just a stone’s throw from the Jurassic Coast, this small school is an excellent launchpad to a spread of local grammars and state schools (the excellent Thomas Hardye School is just around the corner) and independent schools, including Bryanston, Clayesmore and Canford. Music is huge, and sport is very much for all, with everyone given the opportunity to play in a team.
