Lady Eleanor Holles School

There’s something compellingly down to earth about Lady Eleanor Holles – and we think it should make the shortlist of any parent with a bright-as-a-button daughter. Academically selective from the 7+ get-go (the terrific junior school is across the playing fields), it’s refreshingly diverse culturally, socio-economically and geographically. Bursaries
LEH operates a well-funded bursary scheme that offers around £1m of financial support a year to students, of whom around 8 per cent receive some form of financial support. While the largest number of these are full bursaries, the school does reserve the right to award bursaries by academic performance in entrance exams and interviews if demand outstrips available funds. The annual income threshold for a full bursary is around £50,000, with a sliding scale up to a ceiling of £90,000.

Girls on full bursaries also receive financial cover for lunches, coaches to and from school, curriculum trips, uniform and iPads.
